What is tooth extraction & wisdom teeth?
We always try to save a tooth first, but sometimes extraction is the healthiest option — for example with severe decay, advanced gum disease or an impacted wisdom tooth.
Extractions are performed under local anaesthesia with careful technique to keep healing quick and comfortable.

Frequently asked questions
Do all wisdom teeth need to be removed?
No. Wisdom teeth that have erupted fully and can be cleaned well can stay. Removal is advised when they are impacted, causing pain, infection or damage to the neighbouring tooth.
How long does healing take?
Most people feel normal within a few days; the gum heals over the following weeks.
